A few months ago lots of our soldiers started to come home from Iraq, i went with my friend Paige when her hubby came home to take pictures for them. I had never been to a welcome home ceremony and what an emotional time all the wifes were so excited and had HAPPY tears i'm so grateful for all our troops and especially for Andrew for serving his country it really is a huge sacrifice for the soldiers and their families!!!

There were alot of people little kids seeing their daddy's for the first time ever since they were born. We sat there for almost an hour before the soldiers walked onto the Football field i was so excited for Paige.
All the soldiers walked on to the football field and there were hundreds of them, at times i feel very privledge to see so many soldiers willing to give up their life for their country. As they stood their i'm sure trying to find their wifes and kids in the crowd, after a speech they released them to go find their loved ones.........

Paige and i had been trying to find Lee amongst all the soldiers but it's amazing how they all seem to look the same in uniform, anyways he spotted Paige and little Branten at this point i was all teared up to. We're so glad you made it home safe Lee and thanks again..........
Branten was so excited to see his daddy, too cute he held the flag basically the whole time:)

Here's an idea of what it looked like when they first came onto the field, the soldiers covered most of the field it was amazing to see all them:)
Paige and i waiting and waiting she was nervous excited and just ready to have her husband home. I see all these women who are basically single parents for 15 months and how hard it is is, When Lee left their baby was only 3 months so imagine how much he changed. I hope we can all learn to appreciate our soldiers i know i have being around it they really are true HEROS and i'm thankful for every one of them. Thanks Specialist Andrew Whitehead for all your hard work and being such a great soldier. i love ya!!!
