4th of July

We had a fun 4th of July we stayed at home this year grilled with friends, and enjoyed the beautiful weather, which it was VERY hot i loved it:) No fireworks this year, Andrew and i actually had planned on going to Mainz for fireworks and a little celebration but we later found out they skip a year so they will have it again next July! Hangin out in the Baumholder ghetto, we always joke around that we live in the ghetto which we kinda do, no it's really not that bad!Lee the king of grilling Branten after eating some ribs, he LOVED them Okay so i was trying not to get chalk alover my white pants, we had some sidewalk chalk so decided to use our artistic abilities in the parking lot! (I'll admit it was Andrew doing most of the drawing since he's so good at it) Lee and Paige we were lucky to get a good smile out of Lee he had already had a few too many drinks but the life of the party ha ha. Paige and i We had a fun 4th of July but i will be glad to celebrate in the states again, it's just not the same when your not in the States!

TRIATHLON IN BAUMHOLDER

We came to walk around the Lake here in Baumholder a couple weeks ago and noticed a little celebration going on and come to find out it was a triathlon. They had music playing all their tents set up selling Brawts and of course beer Germans can't celebrate without their beer!
Andrew and i caught the very end of the triathlon we saw a couple swimmers that's about it, but we had fun walking around the lake and enjoyed the beautiful day:) In the summer they make a section of the lake into a little beach area, we haven't attempted to swim in the water yet it looks pretty dirty so i think we'll just stick to goin to the pool in Ramstein:)
Look at the cute turtles
Andrew and i enjoying the day it was gorgeous and you have to take advantage of these days because the next day it could rain like crazy! We were trying everything to get Zoe to jump in the water, she was chasing after some ducks but no luck she didn't go in the water!

Which is kinda weird since it's been working the whole time i started to blog, Anyways we found out the problem since we aren't living in the states the playlist will no longer work here in Germany, Our computer is set up in German! If any of you know of any other playlists please let me know. Crazy i guess that's what we get for being in another country ha ha

Anyways Andrew took me to my favorite German resturaunt in Idar "Grosser Wok" This place has the best chinese food i've ever had it's one of our favorite places in Germany! After having lunch we walked around Idar for awhile and then Andrew took me to one of my favorite clothing stores here and got me a couple shirts, which they are good priced at this store TAKKO it's a good thing with the dollar being worth less than the Euro! Later that night Andrew surprised me with a muffin cake which he wrote 31 in butter yes i know i'm old ha ha. I thought it was cute and i've never had a birthday muffin cake before:) Andrew had went outside before me so by the time i got outside they started singing to me and then we all enjoyed the muffins! Paige and i Andrew and i-Lee and Paige-Travis Zoey bear even came outside to celebrate with us ha ha!!!
