So this was pretty funny until the swan started hissing at me, I was a little SCARED, Andrew was laughing but i wasn't laughing to hard ha ha!

Here is another lake, this one is in Lucerne. You can see the Alps from here but it was a little to foggy..... We did drive up to a little ski resort town up in the alps i will be sure to post some pictures!

Andrew and i headed to Switzerland a few weeks ago, it's only about 4 hours from our place in Germany and it was a beautiful drive. We drove by Europa Park which is suppose to be awesome if you LOVE roller coasters, Andrew and i both do so we might have to make it there someday...........YEAH! We made it to Switzerland, it was pretty funny we had a cooler full of steaks and tons of good American food for our new long lost friends. We got her a few weeks ago she's now 12 weeks, she's so much fun and we just love her to death. BAUMHOLDER GERMANY- Here is a little idea of what Baumholder looks like, this picture was taken from a friends house here on base! Very different than what we are use to but we are excited to start traveling around Europe.Andrew and i are so happy to finally be together, it took a little longer than planned but we couldn't be happier. (Lots of paperwork etc....) It's sometimes different living in a different country we love and miss all our family and friends but at the same time are excited for this new experience!! WE WILL BE SURE TO KEEP YOU UPDATED..........Here is one of the MANY castles here in Germany, no matter where you drive you seem to see ALOT of castles you suddenly become really good at spotting them ha ha. This one is in Idar-Oberstein which is about 15 min from Baumholder! HERE IS THE SMART CAR- Everyone in Europe drives really small cars and if you happen to see truck or minivan etc..... you know they are AMERICAN!! HA HAThere are windmills everywhere in Germany, it's different seeing so many but you get use to it and it seems like Andrew and i are getting more use to the European lifestyle everyday. It's different but at the same time FUN and a whole new experience for both of us.Okay so we have now joined the blogging world! We will try to post some pictures and keep you updated on our live in GERMANY! This is my second day in Germany. YEAH i finally made it for those of you that don't know it took me almost two day to get over here, my plane got delayed in SL because of tornado warnings in Chicago. So by the time we landed in Chicago my connecting flight had already gone, the soonest flight available was the next day at 1:00PM. YEAH i spent 18 hours in Chicago all flights were cancelled so it was pretty crazy! Anyways i finally made it to Germany to be with my cute hubby!!
Andrew and i are currently living in Germany and will be here for 2 more years. Andrew is a calvary scout in the U.S. Army. Although it's sometimes different living in another country and far away from family and friends, We are having ALOT of fun traveling around Europe together.
