Weekend barbecue with our favorite German Family!

On Sat. the weather was beautiful so Andrew and i headed to Nandichweiler to my good friend Julia's parents to barbecue. Okay it's a pretty funny story so Julia took her parents to the Commisary (military grocery store) anyways they saw the hotdogs and asked what they were, so they decided get some to cook. We thought it was pretty funny........ Andrew and i love hangin out with her family they are so much fun, i guess they are like our little German parents, they always invite us to dinners, and fun stuff they do. We love you guys!!!!
This is Alfred he is hilarious, this guy has every kind of beer, wine, shot glasses, wine glasses etc..... You name and he has it stored at his house. He is a true German guy ha ha! He loves to go fishing, Andrew and Scott went fishing a couple months ago at the lake he works at they had tons of fun........
Andrew and Scott cooking the food.............
This is Julias mom and Julias dog Rambo. She has made us some good German food and she makes the best salads, Germans usually make their own homemade dressing. (I love salads and Germany some of the best.) She is such a sweet lady!
Here's me Julia, and Lisa Marie she is learning English in school right now and she sounds so cute when she talks to Andrew and i. She always likes to tease Andrew it's so cute, she is only a year older than my niece Madison, She makes me miss her everytime i see her, and yes the little German girls also love Hannah Montanna............
This is Lara and Felix Julia's neighbors little kids aren't they adorable. They make me miss my Niece and Nephews! Anyways these kids have never had Hot Dogs either and like any other American kid "THEY LOVED THEM" I guess Lara hates regular food and just loves sweets so her mom was SHOCKED when she ate the whole thing............

TRIER! One of our favorite places in Germany......

Here is Trier Germany Andrew and i love this place, it's beautiful this is by far one of our favorite places in Germany. There is so many fun things to do in Trier. We had a lot of fun walking along the Mosel River. We've been here a couple times and plan on going a lot more, I'm excited to take my mom and cousin here in just 3 weeks! Germany is really one of the most beautiful places in Europe they are all about the enviornment and everywhere is so clean, especially the autobahn you hardly ever see any trash and if you do you just assume it was an American ha ha. Germans also recycle everything it's pretty crazy!
This is along the Mosel river it's pretty big i know it goes through Frankfurt, Luxembourg and Belgium. They have a little cruise that will take you along the Mosel which you see alot of the castles in Germany. I love Trier it's such a cute city...........
Check out this guy, It was pretty funny Andrew and i had no idea this was an actual person until he turned his head. He must be really BORED........
Okay So isn't this the funniest statue!? A foot how random! (These are two different statues. Who knows how many other foot statues are in Trier!)
This is the porta nigra "black gate" its really old built in 200 a.d. it was one of four main gates the romans used to protect the roman city, several centuries later napoleon destroyed the largest monastery in the city of trier that was located next to the porta nigra, now where the monastery used to stand, is now a big shopping district.
The Electoral Palace, this is such a beautiful building!
